Teaching of Analytical Chemistry

An efficient teaching at the undergraduate levels of the university is affected by two principal factors. The first component of these two factors is “the efficient teaching and learning in the university . While, the second one is “The characteristics of the teaching subject”, whichis here the “Analytical Chemistry”. In this report, we first point to the “Seven principles necessary for a good practice in undergraduate educations”, the principles that are the results of the extended researches performed by specialists in the area of educational sciences. Then, we report the specifications of the “Analytical Chemistry”, a branch of chemistry having an extended correlation with other scientific area such as medical, pharmaceutical, agricultural and biological sciences, and various branches of engineering and so on. Accordingly, it is necessary that the teaching of analytical chemistry to the students and those that are interested to learn the various methods of material analysis be performed on the basis of the sole specificities of this area of chemistry. The main part of this report corresponds to a brief discussion about these characteristics.
