A sensitive voltammetric method has been developed for the oxidation and determination of the ceftriaxone at carbon paste electrode based on magnetic nanocomposite Fe3O4/C/Ag. The cyclic voltammetry (CV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) methods were used for the determination of ceftriaxone.Under the optimal conditions, the electrochemical sensor offers an excellent response for ceftriaxone, the linear response range is from 0.21 μM to 9.5 μM 2and the detection limit is 0.05 μM. The electrochemical sensor has been applied to the determination of ceftriaxone in real samples with satisfactory results [1-3].
