Let R be an associative ring with identity. In this paper we characterize ZG-regular (respectively,
strongly ZG-regular rings) and we show that in an abelian ZG-regular ring R, the Nil(R) is a twosided
ideal of R and
R
Nil(R)
is G-regular. Furthermore, this paper includes a brief discussion of
ZG-regularity in group rings.
