On the modules with nonzero annihilators

Let R be a Noetherian domain and M be a finitely generated R-module. Let FittR(M) be the first Fitting ideal of M. The main result of this paper is to characterize all R-modules M when FittR(M) is a product of maximal ideals of height at most two.
