Some Properties of Hypergraph Coloring Complexes

Let H = (V; E) be a hypergraph, and for A V, [A] be the induced hypergraph by A in H. In this paper, we show that if the coloring complex of H is shellable, then the coloring complex of [A] is shellable, and hence it is homotopy equivalent to a wedge of spheres, for every A V.
