MnO2- Poly (o-aminophenol) nanocomposite thin film was synthesized using a pulsed potential electrodeposition technique on a graphite electrode. MnO2 was doped into a conducting copolymer, Poly (o-aminophenol) via a one-step process during the electrochemical polymerization. The doping of MnO2 enhances the electrochemical activity and reversibility of the copolymer. Scanning electron micrographs clearly revealed the formation of nanocomposites on the surface of the working electrode. The results show that the capacitive behaviours of the as-prepared MnO2- Poly (o-aminophenol) were superior to those of pure Poly (o-aminophenol), especially at high potential scan rate. The MnO2 doped copolymer also had an excellent cyclic performance
