Antimicrobial resistance is a worldwide challenge of medicine and veterinary medicine that emerge in last decades and concern human and animal health and life.Resistanceof theileriosis to Buparvaqune in recent years is a problem in this issue that should investigate by veterinary university and microbial laboratory. Tropical theileriosis and East coast fever are devastating diseases caused by obligate hemoprotozoan parasites belonging to genus Theileria. Theileria annulata and Theileria parva are the most important tick-transmitted pathogenic species causing bovine theileriosis. Tropical theileriosis, is form of disease that occurred in many region of our country, is an extremely fatal and debilitating tick-transmitted disease infecting cattle. This hemoparasitic infection is caused by Theileria annulata and is responsible for substantial production losses. About 250 million cattle are at risk to Tropical theileriosis worldwide. This intracellular infection inflicts economic burden on cattle breeders in terms of mortality and morbidity as well as expenses spent on prophylactic measures against disease and treatment. We have observed some of case of theileriosis need to three or four repetition of Buparvaqune for treatment and finally death in some of them was occurred. With regard to occurrence of similar evidence in other province and regionswe suspected to resistance to drug in this parasite and method of control may become less effective over time and should investigated.
