Objectives: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of different levels of Chromium and Chromium nanoparticles on the Performance, FCR under heat stressed conditions of broilers (Ross-308). Heat stress decrease the growth factor, feed intake and feed conversion. Materials Methods: A total of 320 one-day old chicks were divided in 8 groups with 4 replicates (each 10 chicks). The experiment includes: 1) negative control group (thermal comfort and ration without Chromium), 2) positive control group (heat stress and diet without Chromium), 3, 4 and 5 groups) respectively heat stress plus 500, 1000 and 1500 ppb of Chromium and 6, 7 and 8 groups) 500, 1000 and 1500 ppb were fed nanochromium. Chromium nanoparticle preparation: Nanoparticles of Chromium were prepared using the wet polish method with a ball grinding machine (JBM-B035; Just Nanotech, Taipei, Taiwan) and Nanoparticle size determination: Nanoparticle was mounted on formvar coated copper grids (200 mesh) and examined under transmission electron microscope (Philips Bio Twin 100,The Netherland) at 75 KV and electron micrographs were taken. We have seen electron micrograph of Chromium nanoparticles showing dense round electron dense bodies (bar diagram 100nm). Flock performance traits such as feed intake, weight gain and feed conversion ratio from 21 days were measured on week. Then, growth period was statistical analysis.Results Conclusion:Results showed a significant (P 0.05) effect of heat stress on flock performance, particularly in traits related to weight gain, feed conversion ratio is especially in old age.Overall, results the research show that the addition source of Chromium to form nano is better than organic form of Chromium in reduce the effects of heat stress efficiently and adding the levels 1500, 1000ppb respectively for Chromium Chromium nanoparticlesin broilers under heat stress is importance.
