Today qualitative improvement of education is of great importance and it can be achieved only by improving the quality of instruction. To train reflective and totally active world citizens novel approaches based on sound objectives must be implemented. Students are more likely to participate actively in activities that are comfortably satisfying one or more needs. Since a wide range of human variables – intellectual, social, physical and cultural characteristics, interest, at-titude, motivation- exist within a group of youngsters plans, should provide for learning at different rates and in a variety of learning styles. Learning should be related to pupil’s experiences. Learning is a key process in human behaviour. Indeed, it appears to play an important role in virtually every activity we perform (Baron, 2006: 169). This paper explains about the excellent achievement of stu-dents in all aspects through mastery learning.
