This paper presents an experimental and analytical method for in-situ damage detection of composite plates
using Lamb waves. Experimental results using effective digital signal processing techniques in time and joint timefrequency
domain such as wavelet transform to ease signal feature extraction are presented for the application of Lamb
waves to damage detection in glass fiber/epoxy and carbon fiber/epoxy composite plates containing two damage types,
including hole and notch
