Solar energy is one of the clean renewable energy resources. Nowadays it is used to run many applications like producing electricity, desalinating water, drying fruits, heating, coaling and so on. In this research a solar air heater has been studied. It is a cabinet solar dryer with two air channels in the collector component were used forced convection air streams in its channels. The mathematical model has been carried out to analysis of heat transfer in the collector of this solar dryer. Energy balance has been calculated for all components of the solar air heater. The main object of this study was to find efficiency of a double- pass solar air heater for all over the year of Yazd Province in Iran. The most efficient month is January with 145 solar radiations. The ambient conditions and solar radiation of this location were used to perform modeling on solar air heater. The results may be used as a reference to produce a more efficient solar dryer for the situation of Yazd province in Iran
