This article seeks to investigate Shahraam Rahimian’s Dr. Noon Loves His Wife More than Mussadiq built upon the literary historiographical theory of Hayden White. This novel consists of several historical figures, namely Dr. Mussadiq, Dr. Noon, and some others who were members of Mussadiq group. Hayden White is a prominent figure in the field of history with his remarkable work, Metahistory (1973), marked as a turning point in historical theory. In this paper, one of White’s significant concepts, emplotment, is brought into consideration since there is a confluence between his theory and what Rahimian depicts in his novel from a historical viewpoint.
