ZSM-5 zeolite as a great catalyst system has been prepared and tested their catalytic activity in aqueous-mediated greener synthesis of 2,3-dihydroquinazolin-4(1H)-ones derivatives in higher yield with shorter reaction time. Recyclability of novel catalyst system was also studied which resulted in no loss of their catalytic activity up to five cycles makes the whole system industrially viable.
