SAPO-34 nanostructured catalyst was hydrothermally synthesized and Ag-SAPO-34 and K-SAPO-34 catalysts were prepared by ion exchange of SAPO-34 catalyst with AgNO3 and KNO3 solutions, respectively. The samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), and ammonia temperature programmed desorption (NH3-TPD) techniques. Prepared samples were examined in methanol to olefins (MTO) process. It was found that Incorporation of K+ and Ag+ in SAPO-34 structure, leads to increase selectivity of ethylene and propylene.
