In this study SAPO-34 zeolite nanocatalysts were synthesized successfully from silicic acid and using aluminium chloride as Si and Al sources, respectively via hydrothermal procedure, at different pH and hydrothermal temperatures, in the presence of diethyl amine (DEA) as a template. Effect of different parameters like pH and hydrothermal temperatures were investigated. Prepared samples have been characterized by XRD, TEM, EDAX and FTIR analysis. FTIR spectra confirm the production of ZSM-5 type SAPO-34 zeolite. The TEM images confirm the particle size of the samples in the range of 7–20 nm. XRD patterns showed middle alkali precursor and 180 °C hydrothermal temperature lead to production crystalline phase of SAPO-34 material.
