We reported a new method for the synthesis of γ-alumina. Nanosized γ-alumina was synthesized successfully by a simple method using Nepheline syenite ore and Lime by leaching. X-ray diffraction, FTIR spectroscopy were used to characterize the structure and morphology of synthesized powder.
