In this paper, a new approach based on a fuzzy model
and least squares approximation is presented to approximate a
continuous function. A fuzzy model to product inference engine,
singleton fuzzifier, center average defuzzifier and Gaussian membership
functions is trained by least squares approximation based
on given continuous function.
