In this paper, we propose a suitable model in order to explain and understand the outbreaks
of influenza A(H1N1) worldwide by using fractional derivative in the sense of Caput’s of
order α 2 [0;1). The fractional-order differential equations provide a powerful instrument for
incorporation of memory and hereditary properties of the systems as opposed to the integer
order models. We provide the numerical simulation of the pandemic virus AH1N1 by applying
the multi-step generalized differential transform method (MSGDTM). The simulated results
show that the fractional-order α play an important role on the dynamic of influenza A(H1N1)
epidemic.
