A simple and efficient procedure for the synthesis of 2-phenyl-1H-phenanthro## [9,10-d]imidazole derivatives via the condensation of phenanthrene-9,10-dione with various benzaldehydes and ammonium acetate by using the magnetic Co doped NiFe2O4 nanoparticles has been developed. The magnetic nanocatalyst was easily separated with the aid of an external magnet and reused at least four times without any loss of its high catalytic activity. Excellent product yields, solvent free conditions, very short reaction times and simple magnetically work-up are other significant advantages of this method.
چكيده لاتين :
A simple and efficient procedure for the synthesis of 2phenyl1Hphenanthro 910d imidazole derivatives via the condensation of phenanthrene 910 dione with various benzaldehydes and ammonium acetate by using the magnetic Co doped NiFe2O4 nanoparticles has been developed. The magnetic nanocatalyst was easily separated with the aid of an external magnet and reused at least four times without any loss of its high catalytic activity. Excellent product yields solventfree conditions very short reaction times and simple magnetically workup are other significant advantages of this metho.
