چكيده: در اين مقاله نشان داده مي شود كه معماري مسكن بومي گيلان و معماري دوران مدرن غرب با وجود ريشه هاي تاريخي ،فرهنگي، اجتماعي و اقليمي اساساً متفاوت، شاخصه هاي فرمي مشابه بسيار زيادي داشته و آگاهي از اين همخواني مي تواند در فرآيند طراحي معماري مدرن شهري امروز كه نيازمند هويت بخشي و پايداري اقليمي، فرهنگي و اجتماعي است، همچون ابزاري مؤثر به كار رود. براي رسيدن به اين از روش بررسي تطبيقي شاخصه هاي اين دو گونه معماري بهره گرفته مي شود تا از طريق آن بتوان به شناخت ويژگي هاي مفهومي و كالبدي مشترك در اين دو گونه معماري دست يافت . اين مقاله به عوامل مؤثر بر معماري مسكن بومي گيلان مانند شرايط اقليمي، فرهنگي و معيشتي معرفي شده و پس ازآن به شاخصه هاي مسكن بومي گيلان وعلل پيدايش هر يك مي پردازد. در بخش دوم به مولفه هاي بومي گيلان ونقاط قوت وضعف آن وراهكارهاي پيشنهادي وراهبردي طراحي بومي گيلان مي پردازيم و در بخش سوم با بررسي راهكارهاي پيشنهادي وراهبردهاي معماري به شناخت ويژگي هاي مشترك آ نها پرداخته مي شود و در بخش آخر جمع بندي و نتيجه گيري همخواني شاخصه هاي بسيار به عنوان ابزاري براي تهيه چارچوب نظري طراحي معماري پايدار معاصر گيلان مطرح مي شود.

Abstract: The aim of this paper is to discuss the issue that illustrate the fundamental historical, cultural, social, and regional distinctions between local housing architecture in Guilan and western modern architecture, despite. aborigines, acknowledging these resemblances could be utilized as an operative instrument in the process of designing modern urban architecture in which the regional, cultural, and social stability and their identifications are the key requisites. In order to have a deeper understanding of the common notional and skeletal characteristics within these two types of architecting strategies, this paper has applied a comparative study. This study introduces effective factors in Guilan local housing architecture such as regional, cultural and living conditions; in the meanwhile the specifications of local specifications of local housing and the reason for each specification are discussed. In the second section the local elements of Guilan province; its strong and weak points have been analyzed. In the third section the paper identifies the common characteristics of them through examining the recommended architectural strategies.in the final section the paper has prepared the results of the resembling features as a mean to deduce a theoretical frame for contemporary architectural design in Guilan province.
