In this paper, we investigate Posner’s second theorem for generalized $\theta$−derivations of prime
rings. We show that, under certain circumstances, if D is a centralizing generalized $\theta$−derivation
.on a left ideal of a prime ring R, then R is commutative or $\theta$= 0
