This paper aims to present a collocation approach based on Daubechies wavelet scaling
functions for approximate solutions of Volterras model for population growth of a species with
a closed system. In our method the integral and derivative term in dyadic points will be
computed exactly. Using This method Volterras population model reduces into a system of
non-linear algebraic equations. The results demonstrate the applicability and accuracy of the
method. Also an error bound for the method will be investigated.
