Th is paper reports the green and in-situ preparation of the Fe3O4@SiO2-Ag a magnetic nanocatalyst synthesized using flower extract without addition of any stabilizers or surfactants. Th e as-synthesized nanoparticles have been characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and Fourier transform infrared spectra (FT-IR). Th e catalytic performance of the resulting nanocatalyst was examined for the reduction of 4-nitrophenol (4-NP), methylene blue (MB) and methyl orange (MO) in an environmental friendly medium at room temperature. Th e catalyst was recovered using an external magnet and reused several times with negligible loss of catalytic activity.
