Nowadays communication is the life blood of all the organizations and language is the first
and the most important source of communication. In essence, language is a method by which we
share our insights and thoughts with others. There are different languages throughout the world
and in many countries, besides national language many other languages are spoken and written. In
today world, getting the work done in effective manner has become more important than having
the most knowledge. The growing importance placed on oral communication skills by employers
has been echoed internationally in these two three decades. Knowledge and technical expertise are
clearly important, but these require to be presented with excellence. Effective communication
reinforces positive impression. Lack of effective communication skills contributes to the low
profile of expertise in general public. The present descriptive study aims to investigate role of
learning English language in communication skills. Communication skills are one of the best
career enhancers and the single biggest factor in determining people’s success.
