Main factors to success knowledge sharing activities among academics in malaysia

Knowledge sharing (KS) is one of the significant elements in knowledge management. The main objective of knowledge sharing is to making awareness of knowledge needs and making knowledge available to others by providing technical and organized infrastructure. This paper tries to investigate the relationship between knowledge sharing among academics in Malaysia. The purposes of this study were to find out an overall view from the academics on knowledge sharing, to understand the current knowledge sharing practices and its mode and finally to identify the factors and barriers influencing knowledge sharing. There are many variables and factors can impress the success of knowledge sharing among academics in universities, but the main important indicators include
