شهر تهران به دنبال توسعه سريع و بي رويه فضاهاي شهري، از فقدان ضوابط و دستورالعمل هاي مناسب براي طراحي و برنامه ريزي فيزيكي شهر رنج مي برد كه منجر به ناكارايي فضاهاي شهري و برآورده نشدن نيازهاي فيزيكي و روحي شهروندان گرديده است. از سوي ديگر شكل گيري مبلمان شهري و در پي آن شكل گيري پل هاي عابر پياده به عنوان پاسخي به تغييرات صورت گرفته و تأمين امنيّت شهروندان در فضاهاي شهري، يكي از شاخص ترين عناصر شهري بوده كه علاوه بر جنبه هاي عملكردي، نقش بسزائي در شكل گيري كيفيات بصري آن خواهند داشت. عليرغم وجود مطالعات متعددي كه بر ضرورت ملاحظات زيباشناسانه از يك سو و لزوم تلفيق و هماهنگي بصري ساختار پل با محيط اطراف آن (طراحي همخوان با زمينه)به عنوان يكي از مهم ترين عوامل تأثيرگذار بر كيفيات زيباشناسانه انجام گرفته، متأسفانه امروزه خصوصاً در شهر تهران به دليل ناديده انگاشتن پتانسيل هاي زيبا شناسانه پل هاي هوايي در فضاهاي شهري، مورد بي مهري شهروندان قرار گرفته است و آنها صرفاً عناصري عملكردي در ترافيك شهري تلقي گرديده و قابليّت آنها در بهبود كيفيات بصري شهر ناديده انگاشته مي شود.

On the other hand, the formation of urban furniture and the consequent formation of pedestrian bridges as a response to changes and ensuring the security of citizens in urban spaces is one of the most important urban elements that, in addition to functional aspects, has a significant role in shaping They will have visual qualities. Despite the numerous studies on the necessity of aesthetic considerations on the one hand and the necessity of integrating and coordinating the visual structure of the bridge with its surroundings (consonant design with the field), as one of the most important factors influencing the aesthetic qualities, unfortunately today, especially in Tehran Due to the neglect of the aesthetic potential of air bridges in urban spaces, they have been deprived of citizens, and they are merely considered as functional elements in urban traffic and their ability to improve the city visual qualities is ignored.
