The current work deals with the analysis of peeling and shearing stress fields in a simply-supported single-sided GFRP-retrofitted concrete beam subjected to tensile loadings at both ends, taking into account the effect of presence of adhesive layer on the stress distribution throughout the bondline of the aforementioned joint focusing on the adhesive concrete interface under the influence of altered stacking sequences. Thus, a comprehensive, compact computational code was generated in order to determine the entire stress field along the interface. The theoretical framework of the program is based on the robust, high accuracy theory of lamination of composite materials as well as the adhesive interface constitutive equations. The methodology can be easily extended to the application of various joint configurations subjected to different types of loadings. The obtained results are in good conformity with the outputs of the existing literature.
