impact of information sharing on supply chain practice

Effective supply chain practice and information sharing enhances the current supply chain management environment. The purpose of this study is to investigate the integration of information sharing and supply chain practice in supply chain management. In this study, three categories of supply chain practice are considered: supply chain planning, just-in-time production, and delivery practice. A group of supply chain practice is regarded as effective supply chain practice if the selected best practices have been implemented. Information sharing is another focus of this study. In this study, three-step support information-sharing technology, information content, and the quality of the information is examined. The data is based on surveys of managers and professionals and experts in the field of 18 factories and mines Kaveh Glass Industry Group operating in the country, is formed.The findings show that both effective information sharing and effective supply chain practice are critical in achieving good supply chain performance.
