Value Efficiency Score for the non--convex technology: Some properties

The original Data Envelopment Analysis are value free, in the sense that they do not incorporate any preferences into the procedure of evaluating Decision Making Units. However, these models can be complemented by incorporating preferences of the Decision Maker. The preferences may be provided in two kind, on the inputs/outputs, or among the set of units. When the later is considered, the issue of value efficiency analysis is turned out. In this paper we deal with the concept of value efficiency in the case that the Free Disposal Hull technology. We present a modification of the model proposed by Halme et al. [3], and investigate its properties.
