Since presenting a complete ranking of efficient Decision Making Units (DMUs) is necessary, this paper proposes a new
approach in this topic. The pioneering work of Andersen and Petersen breaks down in some cases. However, the new
approach uses a concept inferred from the multiplier model to rank the efficient DMUs of the DEA models. This concept
proposes new virtual units corresponding with each efficient DMU. These units claim to have the same production
technology. However, using these units in the Production Possibility Set (PPS) solve the new DEA model to give a complete
ranking of DMUs. Finally, some real data are employed to show the ability of this method in comparison with AP ranking
measure.
