Contact-channel-contact system for DNA nucleobases is studied by consisting of two semi-infinite Gold electrodes on the left and right sides used as the contacts, and the channel. DNA bases strong absorbed to a graphene sheet placed between two gold electrodes are distinguished, and the graphene with Armchair edges is used while chemically passivating the dangling bonds by hydrogen. The capacitance properties of graphene in the channel are analyzed using the non-equilibrium Green’s Function formalism along with density functional theory, and other parameters are extracted including Electron difference potential and Electron difference density.
