تاريخ نقاشي معاصر ايران بعد از انقلاب اسلامي، با تعاريف نويني از هويت فرهنگي در متون هنري مواجه است، كه اين تعاريف با ساز و كارهاي گوناگون هنر در تاريخ جامعه ارتباط مي يابند. از آنجا كه محتواي هنر پيوندي است ميان عناصر گوناگون همچون محيط اجتماعي، سياسي و فرهنگي لذا تاثيرات تحولات تاريخي و سياست هاي فرهنگي بر هويت و ماهيت آن بي تاثير نخواهد بود و مطالعه تاريخ نگارانه آنها خالي از اهميت نمي باشد. از سوي ديگر زمانيكه از هويت فرهنگي سخن مي گوييم نسبت هويت با مفاهيم پيچيده اي چون فرهنگ و مليت، كلافي درهم تنيده را پديدار مي سازد. اين معنا در مورد ايران از اهميت والايي برخوردار است زيرا سه منبع هويتيِ ايراني، اسلامي و غربي هركدام در دوره اي و به نحوي در انباشت هويتي ايرانيان تاثير گذاشته و هويت فرهنگي ايراني معاصر را پديد آورده اند. بر اين اساس هدف اين پژوهش مطالعه تاريخ هنر نقاشي معاصر ايران در دهه هاي 60 و 70 ه.ش است تا نشان دهد كه چرخش هاي فرهنگي و منابع هويتي چگونه بر تاريخ هنر و ماهيت آثار نقاشي معاصر تاثير گذاشته و در هر برهه كدام بر ديگري پيشي مي گيرد. اين پژوهش با روش مطالعه تطبيقي و تحليلي با اتكا به منابع كتابخانه اي و رجوع به اصل آثار تجسمي صورت پذيرفته است. بر اساس روند پژوهش مي توان نتيجه گرفت جامعه هنري دهه 60 ه.ش ايران به مقتضاي شرايط تاريخي خود به سمت هنري انقلابي حركت مي كرد كه بازنمود هويت ايراني- اسلامي در آن اهميت يافت اما در ادامه تاريخ هنر ايران در دهه 70 تجربيات نويني را در دولت سازندگي كسب مي نمايد كه در اين فضاي جديد در كنار هويت ايراني- اسلامي، پرداختن به هويت تجددگرايانه غربي نيز بروز مي يابد.

So The aim of this research is Studying the history of contemporary Iranian painting in the 60s and 70 s hijri until to show that the rotation of cultural and identity sources how affected on art history and nature of contemporary paintings; Which takes precedence over the other at any time. This research according to Comparative and analytical study, Library resources and Refer to the visual arts has been done. This research seeks to show that art community in 60s hijri according own historical terms Moved to the revolutionary art. In this period important issue in art became Iranian-Islamic identity but A decade later in 70s hijri, Gain new experiences in government construction, in this new space with Iranian-Islamic identity, addressing the Western modernist identity develops.
