The Rayen River is located in Kerman province and 14 km of southwest Rayen city. This area is part of Urumieh- Dokhtar magmatic assemblage in south Kerman that show the latest volcano phase in Eocene and composed of lava, pyroclastic and clastic sediments. The lava is consisting of basaltic- andesite, andesitic- basalt and basalt. The pyroclastic deposits are volcanic breccia, volcanic sandstone and the sedimentary rocks that are including limestone, siltstone and sandstone. These rocks probably resulted of old compound volcanos with successive eruptions (Eocene) that had periodically activity and the eruptions were very explosive. The aim of this study is describe the geochemical elements in Rayen River sediments from upstream to downstream to determined provenance, weathering and tectonic setting. The elements chemical analysis in Bureau Veritas Mineral Laboratories (Canada) by ICP-MS in order for understanding major and trace elements. Due to partial digestion concentration more resistance minerals such as Cu, Ag, Au, Zn, Cd, Hg, Tl, Pb, As, Sb, Bi and Se didn’t study and also we couldn’t see any enrichment of Fe. The elements values of Cs, Be, Ba, Y, REE, Th, U, Zr, Hf, Nb, Ta, Mo, W, Zn, Sn, Pb, As, Sb and Bi reflect the calk- alkaline character from the andesitic parent’s rock. Comparing samples/ UCC ratio show the positive Eu anomaly and slightly negative Ce anomaly. In addition they are enriched in LREE relative to HREE. The various graph of chemical composition, magmatic tectonic and determine the provenance related to study rocks show that the rocks of this region with considering the SiO2 Vs. K2O and Ta/Yb Vs. Ce/Yb have calc- alkaline composition with high concentration of K. Y Vs. Sr/Y show the magmatic origin for Rayen River sediments. This sediment with considering Zr Vs. Zr/Y made in continental volcanic arc environments. Based on the Nb/Y Vs. Zr/ TiO2 graph, the Rayen River sediments made of andesite, basaltic andesite and trachy-andesite rocks. The La/Th Vs. Th/Yb show the mafic rocks for this river sediments and Sn/Yb Vs. La/Sm show balance partially melting with various degree in this area.
