چكيده فارسي :
Due to having rich mineral deposits, Iran has a high standing in the world, hence prospecting and exploration of these deposits is a significant issue. Therefore it’s quite common that geophysicists would like to locate subsurface anomalies such as mineral resources, piles, underground tunnels and cavities, drainage pipe and etc. In order to identify and explore disseminated metal and sulfide mineralization zones, induced polarization (IP) and electrical resistivity (RS) methods have an important role. In this study, we tried to recognize size and shape of anomalies using RES2MOD software and compare the results obtained from model-based inversion of the synthetic measurements with those from inversion of the field measurements. We simulated some geometric shapes are commonly used in this approach at first and finally found the shape that its inversion is match to inversion of the field measurements. As a result, we noticed our subsurface anomaly in each section has a horizontal rectangle shape expect the anomaly is extended more than depth of investigation and its shape is a vertical rectangle like a perpendicular dyke.
