In this paper, a new iterative method for finding a common
element of the set of solutions of a generalized equilibrium
problem and the set of common fixed points of a countable family of nonexpansive
mappings in Hilbert spaces is introduced. A strong convergence theorem is given for this
method. This improves and
extends some recent results.
