Facility location models for humanitarian relief logistics: A Literature review

Iran is one of the 10 countries with a high probability of natural disasters and is the sixth largest country in the world with a high earthquake rate. Although the damage caused by these incidents is not feasible in many ways, it is possible to minimize it by preventative measures and proper planning which will help us be prepared to deal with these cases. Logistics is one of the most important subjects in providing services and crisis management. The purpose of this research is to review the studies conducted in the field of crisis logistics and to find the gaps in this field. In this research, with the provision of global statistics of natural disasters and the damage sustained, the importance of the issue of crisis management is highlighted, and then we give a preliminary introduction to each of the issues of crisis and then logistics separately, and in Continuing to define the concepts of humanitarian logistics and reviewing literature in this area, reviewed papers related to the topic are introduced. Finally, studies have been grouped and the study gaps are introduced.
