Telecommunications Industry is in challenge with novel trends of service development in the era of information technology and society. Regarding new challenges Telecom companies should provide value-based services with efficient cost and operations. By this view the main industries in the business concentrates on process improvements. Moreover such process improvements and redesign intertwined with particular technical requirements which are standardized in telecom network design. This research focus on Telecommunication network design and development process improvement based on the general methodology of business process management. This improvement additionally includes the network design optimization which provides better results in customers and vendors’ point of view. Regarding the literature we show the methodology of process improvement in the case of Telecommunication Company of Mazandaran (TCM). The implemented desired process with optimized network design results in higher level of customer satisfaction, cost reduction, revenue increase, inter organizational knowledge sharing and bringing agility for the company.
