خواص الكتروني و مغناطيسي لايه‌هاي نازك Cu2CrAl و Co2CrSi

Electronic and magnetic properties of the Co2CrSi and Cu2CrAl slabs

در اين مطالعه بر اساس نظريه ي تابعي چگالي خواص الكتروني و مغناطيسي آلياژهاي هويسلر كامل Cu2CrAl و Co2CrSi بررسي شده است. كاربرد اين آلياژها به عنوان الكترود و كانال در ادوات GMR در محاسبات پيشين به روش امواج تخت-شبه پتانسيل بررسي شده و در اين مقاله به منظور بررسي دقيق تر اثرات سطحي و ساختار الكتروني با رهيافت امواج تخت الحاقي خطي شده-پتانسيل كامل مورد مطالعه قرار گرفته اند. نتايج نشان مي دهد كه Cu2CrAl تركيب مغناطيسي غير نيم فلزي و Co2CrSi يك تركيب مغناطيسي نيم فلزي است. در ساختار حاوي مس ممان مغناطيسي اتم هاي مس بسيار كوچك به دست مي آيند و انحراف از رفتار اسليتر-پائولي ديده مي شود. در حالي كه در ساختار حاوي كبالت ممان مغناطيسي با رفتار اسليتر-پائولي در تطابق است. چگالي حالات موضعي در لايه هاي نازك اين تركيبات نيز مورد بررسي قرار گرفته است.

In the current study, the electronic and magnetic properties of the full-Heusler alloys Co2CrSi and Cu2CrAl are investigated based on the density functional theory. Previously, it has been investigated the application of these materials as the electrode and channel in GMR devices based on the plane waves-pseudo potential method and in this study based on the linearized augmented plane waves-full potential method they are reconsidered in order to investigate the surface effects and electronic properties more accurately. Results show that Cu2CrAl is a magnetic non-half metal and Co2CrSi is a magnetic half metal compounds. In the former compound, the magnetic moments of Cu atoms are too small, deviating from the Slater-Pauli rule. In the second compound, magnetic moments are in correspondence with the Slater-Pauli rule. Local density of states is also investigated in these compounds.
