In this paper, we synthesized CdSe colloidal quantum dots (CQDs) by hot-injection method. The CQDs
exhibited visible photoluminescence (PL) across a broad range of colors. They were also characterized by
Raman spectroscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray (EDX) spectroscopy, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
