ZnO-polymer-pentoxide vanadium composite were prepared using hot pressing method at a temperature of
130°C and a pressure of 60Mpa and their electrophysical properties were studied as a function of polyaniline
content. The results show that increasing polyaniline content, decreases Nonlinear coefficient, breakdown
voltage and potential barrier height and increases leakage current. Study of SEM micrographs of samples show
that grain boundaries of these composite varistors make nonlinear behavior to be created.
