We introduce the notion of $\varepsilon$-$\rho_*$-orthogonality ( $0 \varepsilon 1$ ) in normed linear spaces. The relation of this orthogonality and other type of approximate orthogonality investigated. Moreover, we give some mapping theorem related to $\varepsilon$-$\rho_*$-orthogonality.
