Investigation of Effects of Planting Fruitful Shrubs and Trees in Rural Public Lanscaping on Parks and Landscaping Organization with SWOT Technique

Nowadays, Landscaping and rural environment are regarded as main factors on persistence of natural and human-like on city living. Boundless extension of cities and increase of air pollution were resulted in extension of landscaping in cities. Selection of types of fruitful shrubs and trees for rural landscaping is a complicated subject in green spaces of cities and also, plant species which are beneficial for arid and semi-arid regions does not have high diversity. Most of them have high water requirements and are susceptible to dehydration. Besides, environmental pollution and building in cities has led to unsuitable growth condition for fruit trees in landscaping. In this survey, positive and negative aspects of planting and use of fruit shrubs and trees in landscaping in Mashhad city have investigated and suitable fruit species for usage in this space have introduced. In order to achieve to this aim SWOT was applied. With this method, strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities were determined. Finally, the best strategies were recognized for this purpose by crossing two by two for these factors. According to my results, the Strength-Threat (ST) is recommended for this survey. Because the sum of the strength and weakness was below the 2.5 and the sum of the opportunity and threat was above the 2.5.
