A Novel Model of Perishable Inventory Based on Electrical Analogy

The development of dynamic review for perishable inventory control has increased in recent year and monitoring of inventory state at all time has received considerable interest. This paper present a Novel model of perishable inventory based on electrical analogy so that in this issue, the electron flow in electrical circuit is considered with similar behavior as goods inventory flow. The proposed model is shown to be consistent with the previous common perishable inventory model. With aid of this new model, each parameter related to inventory management could be controlled such as demand rate, production rate and etc. At the final part, numerical example is provided to further illustrate how proposed model is applied
