Philological Exploration of the word laziness and its factors in the Quran and traditions

چكيده تنبلي از صفات ناپسندي است كه انسان را از كار و تلاش بازمي¬دارد. اين صفت چنان¬كه به دين شخص ضرر مي¬رساند، در امور دنيوي نيز انسان ¬را به تباهي مي¬كشاند. معاني مختلفي براي بيان مفهوم اين واژه ارائه شده كه «كاهلي» و «سستي» از آن دسته است. تنبلي، از علل ناهنجاري¬هاي دوران حاضر بوده كه راهنمايان ديني آن را مذمت كرده و پرهيز از آن را لازم دانسته¬¬اند، از اين رو شناسايي مفهوم و زمينه¬هاي آن ضروري است. شناسايي راه¬هاي پيش¬گيري و درمان تنبلي با شناخت علت¬هاي به¬وجودآورنده آن، از اهداف اين پژوهش است. جمع¬آوري و تحليل آيات، روايات و متون مرتبط با اين موضوع، ساختاري نو در مفهوم شناسي و علل تنبلي به دست مي¬دهد. مفهوم شناسي و شناخت عوامل تنبلي، بخش¬هاي مقاله حاضر را تشكيل داده است. كليد واژه: كسل، راحت‌طلبي، سستي، مطالعات نفس، معارف قرآن و حديث

Abstract Laziness is an abominable character that bars one from engaging into an activity or exertion. This character will not only harm one’s religion but also will destroy his worldly prosperity. Several meanings such as ‘lethargy’ and ‘inactivity’ have been proffered to delineate the word laziness. Laziness is one of the reasons of today’s abnormalities. The religious guides have always condemned this character terming it a bad character everyone has to get rid of it. So, it suits best to know the concept and background of this character. The author makes use of library archive and tries to provide a fair description and analysis of the issue. The objectives of the research are to figure out the preemptive measures of laziness, the real causes of laziness and how to treat this abnormality. The writer tries to proffer a new way in explaining the concepts and causes of laziness through collecting and analyzing the related verses, traditions and texts. Thus, an important part of the article is dedicated to analyze the concepts and realize the real cause of laziness.
