چكيده
جان ديويي يكي از نظريه پردازان مهم دنياي غرب است كه در حوزه تعليم و تربيت داراي نظريه ي است واين مقاله نظريه تربيتي جان ديويي را مورد بررسي قرار مي دهد، آراء تربيتي ايشان، مباني تربيتي، اهداف تربيت، اصول تربيت و روشهاي تربيت از ديدگاه ديويي مورد توجه است و در آخر مباني ايشان با مباني قرآن مورد مقايسه قرار مي گيرد، كه در آخر تفاوت اساسي بين خروجي از مباني ديويي و اسلام به چشم مي خورد. هدف از اين پژوهش نيز نقد نظريه ديويي از نگاه قرآن است و با روشي تحليلي و توصيفي و نيز با جمع آوري اطلاعات به شكل كتابخانه ي صورت گرفته است. آنچه كه مورد توجه است اين است كه تمام مباني جان ديويي چون مبتي بر مادي گرايي است از منظر قرآن كريم مردود است اما در حوزه روش ها و اهداف حدود هشتاد درصد آن از منظر قرآن مردود است و در حدو بيست درصد آن مورد پذيرش قرآن است.

چكيده لاتين :
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to study John Dewey’s theory of education, his pedagogical accounts, foundations, objectives, principles and methods. Given his ontological foundations, experience, in a broad sense, plays the role of a foundation in his pragmatic cosmology. Whereas to the Quran, experience is not the only means of cognition, rather there are many other means of acquiring knowledge as well. As such, to empiricists, values emanate from conditions of human being. This account, however, runs counter to the Quranic view of values. Moreover, in a materialistic worldview, human being with all their aspects including their minds and cognition have materialistic nature. This materialistic approach to man and his features, stands in sheer contrasts to the Quranic view of man. The civility and sociability of man, according to Dewey’s philosophical account, is a pivotal point to be kept in mind. But the Quran’s view, being derived from different accounts developed by the exegetes, is slightly different. According to some, the Quran lays emphasis on the individuality of man, to some it emphasizes on to the principality of society and to some other the Quran appreciates a compound approach in this respect. The author has collected data from library archive and chosen a critical approach towards Dewey’s accounts.
