Salvia is an endemic species belonging to the family of Lamiacease. This study carried out to identify the genetic diversity of population that belonging to specie of S .mirzyanii, a specie in Hormozgan, Iran which is studying features of choromosomes in root tip meristemcells of seeds with asto-ferric-hematoxyllin were investigated. In this study, morphology and choromosome number and properties of this specie were analysed. Finally choromosome number of Salvia mirzyanii was calculated as 2n=2x=20.
