Ranking of Islamic Azad University Branches with DEA and TOPSIS

The scarcity of resources and facilities has been a matter of importance since long time ago up to the present century which is the age of ultramodern information and the salient development of science and technique. Consequently assessing the performance of decision making units (DMU) for the efficient use of recourse is one of the issues regarded by manager. As one of the DMUs, universities are not excluded and paying attention to their efficiency is an important research priority. The present research tries to assess the performance of 5th region units of IAU using DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis). Input and output were recognized and used by analytical hierarch icy process (AHP). Twelve units are considered as DMUs, 6 of which are recognized as inefficient. Next, the efficient units are ranked by Anderson and Peterson ranking methods for units with infeasibility in this method, LJK is used to rank them. Finally, Topsis used to rank units and the results are compared with previous methods.
