Resource allocation approaches attempt to set the targets for inputs and outputs through equitable ways in a centralized production system. The prior approaches based on Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) are developed as an attempt to improve or preserve (average) efficiency of each (all) individual unit(s). However, we may face a case with the aim of preserving the rank position in the actual central business world. So, the need to present the DEA applicable approach to a case has been an issue. Accordingly, in this contribution, we propose an approach to allocate resources such that new production plan levels become proportional to the ability of the units while remaining in current rank position. Finally, the main results are elaborated by a real example
