Unique properties of Carbon Nanotubes (CNTs) and its mixture with
polymers make them very interesting material for sensor application.
Various chemical and electrical CNT-based sensors have been
developed using technology such as infrared, laser, microwave,
electrical capacitance, ultrasound and extra. In the past two decades
researchers attempted to use carbon nanotube in microwave method for
sensing application. In this paper passive and active RF and microwave
circuits are envisaged to be implemented using carbon nanotubes in
recent years due to their small size and electromechanical properties.
Th ese devices are including switches, filters, antenna, resonators,
oscillators, Nano Electro Mechanical Systems (NEMS) and mixers.
