چكيده فارسي :
The photocatalytic degradation of phenol in aqueous phase in a new spinning disc reactor with two different designs employing baffles in its structure was investigated and compared with conventional ones. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analyses showed that nano-size scale TiO2 were successfully deposited on stainless steel disc and Teflon baffles. The obtained results of photocatalytic experiments of water synthetically polluted with phenol showed a better performance of reactor in baffled designs compared with conventional type of this reactor under a selected experimental condition (60 and 90min faster than smooth disc for complete degradation of phenol).
